For the fiftieth post on this site, I am happy to announce that I have just, for the first time, encountered the Greek word 'ops' (Christos Paschon, line 1188), a word notable for being the last word to appear in an alphabetically ordered listing of the classical Greek vocabulary.

Before I get the inevitable nitpicking in the comments from those readers who are rushing off to their copy of Christos Paschon, let me pre-emptively state that the fact that I read it only in a compound verb does not complicate my excitement.

...Nor does the fact that this is was the big thrill of my Saturday night.
